PAGASA warns voters to bring umbrellas on SK Elections

Umbrellas are expected to be seen in most precincts today of the Barangay Elections 2010 and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Elections in the Philippines set today October 25, 2010. This is due to reports that Graciano Yumul, officer-in-charge of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), said rains would still prevail across the country due to the inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

Yumul also said that although tropical storm “Katring” would likely spare the country in its wrath and head somewhere else, it might still attract more rains to get in the country area of responsibility and might bring it's rains on land.
